PREPARING FOR THE APPOINTMENT
Mobile notary service is convenient and makes your life easier. I will show up prepared and it is helpful when you are prepared, too. Help me, help you! Here are some things you can do, to make sure the appointment runs smoothly:

What to bring:
-
All signers must be physically present. Please make sure everyone shows up on time.
-
Photo ID for every signer. A passport, driver's license, or other government-issued ID not expired more than 1 year and containing your photo or signature, is acceptable. The name on your ID needs to match the name on your documents. Loan signings may require you to bring a photocopy of your ID.
-
If necessary, a second form of identification.
-
Documents needing notarization, unless provided by me.
-
For loan signings, any stipulations your closing company or lender requires.
What to do:
-
Be on time.
-
Provide a clean table at which all signers and myself can sit.
-
If at your home, please minimize distractions (i.e., turn off TV).
-
Wait to sign notary documents until I arrive.
-
Time for completing the notarization(s) can vary. Please allow at least 15 minutes.
-
For loan signings, allow approximately 1 hour of time.
